| Archer Cade Washburn, 5 months |
I'm behind on publishing this update, but time just seems to get away from me now that I'm a Mom. Archer is such a busy guy, which makes me one busy mama! You know, I never thought I'd say it, but having a baby really is fun! Don't get me wrong, I'm completely worn out at the end of the day, but seeing that sweet smile makes it all worth it!

Here's what Archer has been up to in the last month:
On Wednesday, November 2nd, Archer laughed at his Dad for the first time while we were in the kitchen making dinner. It was such a sweet moment!
On Saturday, November 5th, I went to get Archer out of his crib and he rolled over and reached his little arms up to me so I could pick him up. It totally made me want to cry. That same afternoon, he ate his first veggie - Carrots! If you missed that update, click here to view it. In addition, to trying carrots, Archer also tried peas, bananas, and sweet potatoes this month. He loved them all except the bananas! I wish I'd had my camera in hand for the face he made we tasted the bananas! Haha... He was not amused!
On Sunday, November 6th, Aaron and I dedicated Archer at our Church. Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for taking a few photos! Afterwards, we celebrated Grandma's birthday by taking her out to breakfast at Main Street Cafe.

On Wednesday, November 23rd, my Dad and my brother, Michael, drove up from Houston to celebrate Thanksgiving. My brother got out of the Marine Corps a few weeks before Thanksgiving, so this was the first Thanksgiving that I've seen him in about 5 years (when he originally went in). This was also the first time for Uncle Michael to meet Archer!

We were also fortunate to have Aaron's Great-Grandma Rene in town with us. This trip was probably one of her last visits to Texas. It's a long trip down and a long trip back. When we made the trek to Kansas a couple of years ago, I thought we'd never get there! So, we took the opportunity to take lots of pictures of Archer and Great-Grandma Rene.

| I think Great-Grandma Rene was surprised at how heavy Archer has gotten! |
The day after Thanksgiving, Uncle Michael's fiancé, Jessica, joined us for Black Friday shopping and Thanksgiving leftovers (she had to work on Thanksgiving). Jessica and Michael both really enjoyed meeting Archer. However, I think Archer really got a kick out of his Uncle because he laughed more and harder than he has ever laughed when Uncle Michael played with him! We were able to capture some video of it. At one point, towards the end of the video, Marianne is barking and Uncle Michael just looks at Archer and he busts out in giggles! The was such a great moment! I'll upload the video once I figure out how to rotate the video without converting it to a different file type. (Darn Windows Live Movie Maker!!)
November was a really fun month, but it just flew by! I wonder if time goes faster once you have children?
