Learning to Fly a Helicopter. No, not Archer silly!

When Aaron and I met, he talked about his desire to learn how to fly helicopters. He even showed me the video he purchased that gave you info on how to do it. Unfortunately, the timing was never right. However, last year, for his birthday, his parents and I pitched it and bought him a gift certificate for a helicopter training Discovery Flight with Epic Helicopters. He was super excited! With the weather be cold and icy around his birthday last year, he decided to wait on using it until the Spring. The Spring kind of flew by and then we were in the heat of the Summer. I told Aaron that as soon as the heat broke, he needed to schedule it. Well, he finally did! Here are pictures from Aaron's Discovery Flight this weekend!

When I figure out how to convert the video I took of Aaron's take off, I'll post an update. I think Aaron really enjoyed his Discovery flight, especially when he was flying at the same time as some other cool aircrafts...you'll have to ask him about it!
