Hide 'n Go Seek & High Fives!

Yesterday, we went to Visions of Love Ultrasound in Denton, Texas to have a 3D/4D sonogram. I was so excited -- I even had caffeine on the way to the appointment to make sure our little guy was up and moving for his big debut! Of course, I was totally wired since I don't have caffeine very often these days, and our little guy was definitely bumping, but he was completely camera shy!

In this 3D photo, he's hiding his face in the placenta, but you can see his little head and one sweet little ear on the left side of the photo.

I can hear you guys!

A night or two before our 3D/4D sonogram, I had a dream that we were having the sonogram done and Baby Washburn gave us the Hook'em Horns! hand signal during the sonogram. It was a really sweet dream. But when Aaron came home from work yesterday, and he was wearing an orange shirt, and it really made me wonder...will our little man give us the Hook'em Horns! hand sign!?!? It was a nice dream. While we didn't see his little Hook'em Horns!, we did see his precious little hand in the 3D photo below. His head and face are behind his hand, the umbilical cord, and something else that I can't remember what the technician said it was.

How about a High Five instead?
The sonogram technician at Visions of Love was so patient with trying to get the baby to move around. We took several breaks. She had me chug a bottle of water, walk around, and go to the bathroom; she even asked if she could poke on him to try and get him to move his legs out of the way! However, no matter what we did, Baby Washburn played hide 'n go seek with us. He did peek out for a split second in the 3D photo below, but his face is partially obstructed by the umbilical cord so you can't see his face as clearly as I had hoped:

Peek-a-Boo!
Currently, Baby Washburn is semi-breach so the technician had a really hard time getting images of our little guy. We are going to go back in a couple of weeks for a re-do to see if they can't get some better video and photos. Hopefully, he has dropped a little by then so we can see him a little better.

In the mean time, we'll continue loving every little kick and jump because very soon, we'll be meeting face-to-face!!! Oh my goodness!!!
