Can You Find the Pacifier Balloon?

On Friday, April 8th, my sweet co-workers & friends, Alicia J., Pam D., and Terri B, blessed Aaron and I with a little baby shower at the main building where we work. The shower was a come and go "display shower." I have never been to a "display shower" before, but apparently it's the new cool and trendy thing to do. So, a big shout out to Alicia, Pam, and Terri for being so on top of the newest trends in baby showers!! :)

The Cake was soo Yummy!!

And thanks to Pam's artistic ability, the cake was as cute as cute can be!! I'm so in love with sweet little baby whale stuff!!

 And thanks to Alicia for finding some really cool balloons! I've never seen a pacifier balloon like that before (...keep in mind, I'm new to the baby stuff...so maybe this has been around for a while, I don't know :)

If you, too, are not familiar with a "display shower," here's how it works... Basically, friends bring an unwrapped gift to the shower and the gifts are displayed on a table. One of the hosts keeps track of the gifts by labeling them with numbers that correspond a numbered list of people. In the mean time, everyone gets to mingle, eat, and discuss things like if the pregnant woman is carrying high or low. LOL.

This actually worked great because we only get 45 minutes for lunch so people were able to drop in, grab some cake and punch, chat for a bit, and then go back to work. Another reason it worked out so well is that Aaron's work group was able to walk over to join in on the fun!
