| Archer Cade Washburn - 10 Months (Sticker on back.) |
Archer weighs probably a little over 21 pounds and is a little over 28 inches long now. This month included many firsts for our little guy!!
First Easter Sunday & Egg Hunt!
Our church, CityView, held an Easter egg hunt and family festival on Sunday, April 1st. Grandma and Grandpa Washburn, Uncle Adrian, and cousin Alex came down to Keller to enjoy the fun and festivities, as well as watch Archer attempt his first egg hunt! Sadly, cousin Alex never got a chance to help Archer hunt any eggs because our little guy fell asleep and commenced to be out for the entire event!!!

First Tooth!
Less than a week later, all of the drooling and teething Archer's been doing turned into his first tooth (bottom)! Unfortunately, it also involved a really high fever and just wanting to be held. After his fever spiked around 5 or 6pm, we took him to Cook Children's only to find he had some kind of virus that was going around. Poor guy was sick and cutting his first tooth all at the same time. Believe it or not, just a week after cutting his first tooth, Archer's second tooth starting coming through (also on the bottom)!
The following week, Grandpa Jones, Uncle Mike, and Aunt Audrey came up to visit for a couple of days. We hung out and played, and I bought my first pair of cowboy boots in Justin, Texas! (Okay, yes, I did have some red Justin Ropers when I was growing up, but my parents bought them for me when I was in Jr. High. I'm not sure what happened to them. Anyway, this is my first pair that I've ever purchased myself. Maybe we'll go to the rodeo next year!!)

First Pony Ride & Swinging Fun!
Archer was invited to Ellie G.'s and Logan S.'s combined birthday party this month. We were so excited to help them celebrate! Ellie and Logan had lots of birthday party fun that included a petting zoo and pony rides! Archer was very intrigued, and by the end of the day he was trying to say "mooo!" and "baaaa" - it was so funny!!

By the end of the month, Archer is imitating all kinds of sounds, including Mom!, he's picking the books he wants to read and look at, having sleep overs with Grandma and Grandpa Washburn, and CRAWLING!!! We left him for two nights with Grandma and Grandpa, and he comes home Crawling! I couldn't believe it! It was such a thrilling moment to see, but let me tell ya, it was a serious game changer!! Little man is on the move!!
Oh my, our little guy is not so little now. Thank YOU so much for posting these wonderful photos and memories. Love You 3, Mom & Dad W.
