Archer is Nine Months!

Archer Cade Washburn, 9 Months
Archer is on the move, and he's grown so much! Archer is about 28" tall and almost 21 pounds. He has a great demeanor and such a fun little personality! Everyday brings something new and more exciting... Archer is such a blessing to our lives!

Hey Mom, whacha doin'?

Haha Mom, you're so funny!!

Archer is now regularly picking up and eating food, in particular Cheerios! He loves them!! And so does Marianne! She's got great cholesterol as of late. Archer has also become fascinated by balls. Such a boy!!

On March 8th, I was picking up Archer from Ms. Lori's house, and she told me her grand-kids came over and they were playing with a big red ball she has. Archer was intrigued and wanted to play too! So they gently tossed/rolled the ball to him and he caught it!! After that Aaron broke out the soccer ball and every other ball he could find in our house!

Whoa! This is pretty cool you guys!

I'm getting excited!!!
YAY!!!!! BAaaaallllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!

The same week Archer discovered balls, he also started saying, "Dada" voluntarily clapping. Such a very exciting time! All of the excitement exploded towards the middle of the month in the form of a nasty little sinus infection. Boo! That was not a fun first experience, but we were thankful it didn't last long.

By the end of the month, Archer was feeling better, and so were Mom and Dad -- amazing how good sleep can make you feel! So, Aaron and I decided to go out - without our little guy - to help our friend Sandra E. celebrate her birthday. I wanted to go, but I didn't want to leave Archer. I guess it's just a Mommy thing, I don't know... I cried all the way to Dallas. Aaron was really sweet and reassuring. I wanted to go pick Archer up after we left, but I was a big girl and let Archer spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa Washburn. He had a blast! In fact, I don't even think he knew we were gone! Little turkey!

Fresh from the bath, our sleepy turkey.
