Is there such a thing as "Man Nesting?"

They say that when a woman gets pregnant, at some point, she will go through a nesting phase. To my knowledge, this phase includes things like:  cleaning, organizing, reorganizing, and de-cluttering the home. While I haven't hit this stage yet, I think it's hit my husband a couple of weeks ago in a major, "manly" sort of way. It's really cute to watch.

While I dealing with that weird virus I had, trying to keep my feet up and relax, Aaron was busy caulking, painting, sealing, putting together baby furniture, fixing crooked doors & door jams, and just doing "Mr. Fix-it" type stuff around the house. I'm really amazed at how much he got done over one weekend! Of course, he couldn't have done it without his awesome Dad there to help :)

Here are some BEFORE photos of the nursery. The room was bright, bright pink with a blue sky:

Surprise! Dad caught in action painting the nursery.

Painting, painting, painting!

Flower border be gone!

Dad & Aaron painting the nursery.

And here are the AFTER pictures of the nursery:

Wow!! Looks like a totally different room!

Our sweet baby's crib.

The changing table!

The little dresser...so cute!

Baby Washburn's nursery. Almost done!

The light grey wall against the blue ceiling with clouds :)

Aaron is going to make the best Dad ever! He never ceases to amaze and surprise me...I feel so blessed!
