Every month, Archer gets more fun and more squiggly!! For this month's photo, I had literally 10 seconds before he was ripping the sticker off to eat it! He is just too funny. All I could do was laugh. There will be no reuse of this sticker. I tried to salvage it, but it's too wrinkled and sad. Thankfully, one of the 4 photos I managed to snap came out without being totally blurry. Hooray!
Archer have been teething for a few months, but this month has been especially drooly. Anything and everything enters ground zero - AKA his mouth!! So we have to be attentive because this little fella has mastered the "roll where I wanna" move!

On Tuesday, February 14th, we celebrated Valentine's Day as a family. It was really sweet. I made dinner while Aaron hung out with Archer, Marianne, and Archer's very 1st Balloon! Ms. Lori and her husband Mr. Don gave Archer a balloon for Valentine's Day. Ms. Lori told me she wasn't sure if he was going to like it at first because he seemed like he was scared, but in no time at all he was enjoying his new, high flying toy!

| Um, Dad...How did it that balloon get way up there?!? |
On Sunday, February 19th, Archer was fussy all day (not the norm). We chalked it up to teething and being tired since he didn't take an afternoon nap. Around dinner, I was holding Archer in my lap and he got sick. We thought it was odd, but I figured it was because I gave him a piece of macaroni and cheese at dinner. Later that night though, he would NOT go to sleep. Archer is a good sleeper, so we knew something was wrong. He couldn't get comfortable. He didn't want to be held. He didn't want to lay down. He didn't want to sit and play -- nothing would make him happy. It was making me sick.
Around 10:30ish, I was sitting with him, trying to comfort him and distract him with toys, and he got sick again. I was freaking out, so we packed everything up and took Archer to the Emergency Room. After a bit of waiting, we finally saw the doctor. Archer had an ear infection in his left ear and a mild case of the croup. Our poor little guy was just miserable. We arrived back home around 1am, and we crashed for four hours before getting up for work. We started Archer's prescriptions that afternoon, and in just a few days, our little guy was back to his usual cheery self!
In fact, he ate an entire banana at Ms. Lori's the following Monday!! By the end of the month, he started picking up finger foods all by himself! He loves to pick up cheerios; and Marianne likes it too. She gets to eat all of the Cheerios that miss his mouth! What a sight to see. Archer looks for Marianne when he's in his high chair now; he likes to make sure she's ready when he's ready. Too funny.
Thank YOU for sharing Archer's life with us. I truly enjoy these blogs. Yes, I get to see him often, but your blogs make sure that we don't miss any of the important moments.
